At Fayette Bible Church we strive to offer a large and diverse music and drama program to incorporate the talents of our congregation. Whether advanced or beginner, there is something available for anyone looking for a ministry opportunity.
The ADULT CHOIR is open to all who are interested in a fun, musically broad, worship and fellowship experience. The Adult Choir is featured in our Christmas and Easter programs as well as special events such as our Anniversary Celebrations.
Our REDEEMED ensemble features dedicated singers in a blended special music program. While the song selection here is wide in variety, their main focus is more traditional songs from the Southern Gospel heritage.
The VOICES Of VICTORY singers encompass our most advanced soloists in an ensemble with a contemporary focus and sound. Specializing in "Bring Down the House" special music numbers, this ensemble also leads the praise and worship of our Morning Service.
The F.B.C. PRAISE BAND is our Sunday morning instrumental ensemble. Performing styles as diverse as Jewish accordion folk praise to full-on contemporary pop, this ensemble is open to dedicated musicians looking for a place to serve with their talents.
The F.B.C. PRIME TIME PLAYERS is a drama and comedy team featured in our Christmas and Easter programming. Have an acting itch? The Christmas team is always open to anyone with the time and energy to invest in a quality production. Our themes are based on popular culture and have featured plots and characters borrowed from "Star Trek,” "Indiana Jones,” "Home Alone,” "Groundhog Day,” "Dukes of Hazzard,” "Pirates of the Caribbean,” and many others. We always tie in the Gospel message and feature a Christ-centered culmination to our plots and conclusions.
Leading the F.B.C. Music and Drama Department is Paul C. Walther. Paul is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of South Florida where he earned degrees in both Music Education and Piano Performance. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association and has also studied Bible doctrine and New Testament theology at Clearwater Christian College. Paul is an active composer, arranger, and writer, and oversees the composition and arranging of the vast majority of the music at Fayette Bible Church. He writes the entirety of our Christmas and Easter plays and scripts and directs our play rehearsals as well. It is Paul's wish to make Fayette Bible Church a joyful outlet of ministry, fellowship, and praise for all those participating in our program.
